    I support the categorical separation of single-family and multi-family mortgages. This separation allows for a more appropriate collection of state and local taxes based on the number of families. Property taxes are used to maintain many of the public services provided to the local community. If a household has 4 families living under one roof, their tax contribution per public service user is significantly less than that of a single-family household.
