I have heard on several occasion that the housing market is "recovering" but from who perspective is it recovering?, and from what is the market recovering from? I am a Detroit, Michigan resident and I have no value in my home, my property is surrounded by blight and decaying homes. And the appraisal value is completely up-side-down. What is being done to help residents who did not walk away during the housing crisis who stayed in there homes. In the form of principal reductions, or the fair market value for our property?
