    Our start up non-profit includes a Community Land Trust. We need:

    - Technical assistance on program design and lender outreach
    - Mitigation of regulatory barriers
    - Lender education materials and programs (the banks here don't know about it!!)
    - Standardization of lending products and model documents
    - Increased purchases of shared equity loans by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

    We also want Fannie Mae to continue their Shared Equity Certification program, and for Freddie Mac to continue offering multiyear technical assistance engagements.

    We would love to see the Enterprises’ loan purchase targets increase. Fannie has increased their targets from prior years, Freddie’s have stayed flat, and we feel both of their targets could be more ambitious.

    We desperately need more housing in our rural community. We would like to see rules mandating that housing last more than 20 years, since this toxic "planned obsolescence" housing is rendering more Americans SICK and homeless unnecessarily. Even manufactured housing could be of higher quality. We would like to see MUCH more shared-equity solutions with regards to the manufactured housing communities nationwide that are getting victimized by predatory practices by private equity-- and other investors. Your Duty to Serve includes protecting communities with the oldest and most economically vulnerable citizens from being destroyed for profit, thereby creating unnecessary and expensive public health burdens.
