We have pursued affordable housing projects as both and Architect working for non-profits and as a Developer. We currently have three pipeline projects. #1 - a 30 single family home cluster development in Waterbury, Connecticut, #2 - a 39 residential unit historic mill conversion project in downtown Waterbury, Connecticut and #3 - a 120 unit townhouse development project in Seymour, Connecticut.

Comment A: We have struggled to find member sponsors. When we do locate one, they have no idea what they are doing and are not well versed in your programs, policies or procedures.
Comment B: Our projects are not located to align with the current CT DOH Commissioner's prioritized locations or profiles. We have been unable to obtain CT DOH or CHFA support through current Development Engagement Process.
Comment C: We have been unable to obtain predevelopment funding grants or loans.
Comment D: FHLB application and funding rounds are cumbersome and expensive.
Comment E: The review process appears to be arbitrary and subjective.
Comment D: Your application process is prohibitively expensive
Comment F: We subsequently have stopped even considering applying to any of your programs. We have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars doing so over many years. We had one successful application in 2007 which was due to the extraordinary efforts of William Nimmons, a since retired local banker
