On behalf of The First National Bank of Henning I am writing to express my deep concerns with potential changes that may occur as a result of items in the RFI, specifically those dealing with mission change and the potential to disrupt the liquidity of the FHLB system.
The FHLB is instrumental in how community banks fund and operate. If FHFA makes changes when something has been proved to work it could potentially ruin one of the most beneficial sources of residential funding and drastically harm the community banking system and their customers.
