FHLBanks are an integral and important part of our financial system.
Without the liquidity resources provided by FHLBanks, consumer lending would grind to a halt. It is imperative that FHLBanks remain as a resource so that consumers can continue to have easy access to mortgage loans. FHLBanks have an important mission and they carry out their mission well. Please do not impose restrictions upon the important services they provide and/or the manner in which they provide them.
