Our relationship with the FHLB of Des Monies is very important to our community bank's well-being. The liquidity provided by the FHLB helps us fulfill our mission of providing excellent service and financial fuel to make loans to our local customers. The FHLB should be governed by congress and not the FHFA. The authority comes from Congress, not a federal agency. Changes to the FHLB should be dictated by our elected officials, not this agency!
