The liquidity provided by the Federal Home Loan Bank is critical to the business operations of our credit union as well as the entire financial services industry. Regardless of any changes that are made to the mission of the FHLB, I urge the FHFA to ensure that the access to liquidity provided by FHLB to the financial services industry is maintained at the current level provided today. Finally, as Congress created the FHLBank System, any changes to the System's mission should be determined by Congress, not the FHFA.
