Regarding the FHLB System, as a community banker, we rely heavily on them as a source of liquidity and options to aid us in getting customers access to homes through their housing programs. They are and continue to be great community partners in giving back to the communities we serve. The last thing that is needed is for another politically biased governmental organization to over regulate a great organization that is 100 percent fulfilling the duties as requested by Congress.
The FHFA needs to let this cooperative work like it has for many years, and let all directives come from congress, not from the FHFA. Leave well enough alone.
