The practice of allowing producing persons to "operate" a P&L branch or region is ridiculous. It violates of number of rules - section 8 of RESPA, anti-steering (Dodd Frank Act), Fair housing, etc. Higher blends of government business, simply because the profit to the branch is higher (steering). These practices should be terminated immediately and violators punished.
