I am married. I have a beautiful family. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think about weight and stress of the cost of living. I work. I try not to overspend. But no matter how hard I work I know that is almost impossible to get ahead without intervention from the government. Rent is the highest it has ever been. I urge the FHFA to consider requiring tenant protections as a universal rule. We deserve rent regulation, good cause eviction protections, fair leases, and freedom from discrimination.
