    I believe that landlords who receive loans from the government should have to abide by particular policies. First of all, there needs to be a limit on how much they can raise the rent. They should price with the market and not just for profit. We are not a big city (Shelbyville, TN).

    Second, I believe they should have to maintain their properties. If they want their rent on time, they need to make repairs in a timely manner.

    Finally, these landlords should not be allowed to retaliate against their tenants for making valid complaints. They never side with the tenant, always the owners.
