We need rent control and When I moved into my apartment rent was $875 and now it is $1100 the the following year it increasing. I moved May 2020 and I have been living here since then. I cannot moved because of my lease and I saw that most places in Nevada, want 1400 for a 2 bedroom and bathroom home. When I first moved I was lied to, there was supposed to be a pool open to the community but the pool is closed and the gym has been closed since I moved in. There was a park that was written in my lease but the park is just now being built. The cleaning process before I was able to move in was rushed, the maintenance does not get fixed on time. There has been leaks in my apartment and it is damaging my carpet, I do ask for maintenance request I would like to get a cleaned carpet. The property managers are constantly getting replaced and I have to keep making requests for maintenance, however the maintenance crew only comes when they want to come. The security guards does not even work. The laundry units on site do not work and I had to buy my own laundry unit; all of the amenities on site are damaged or not working. My landlord needs to be held accountable and stop selling to new owners so the apartment complex can properly maintained.
