    I believe landlords backed by FannieMae should have a limit on rent hikes. It would make budgeting easier for renters because they would know what to expect. It can be very stressful not knowing what your rent will be in a year.

    Secondly, I believe that these landlords should be required to maintain the property and all units. I pay to live here, I should be able to expect livable conditions.

    Finally, I think that retaliation by any landlord is wrong. Those backed by government money in particular should be banned from doing it. This is my home and I should be able to ask for help without being afraid.
