I am a homeless resident of San antonio Tx I need to let it be known that us tenant's are the ones suffering iur kuds are suffering because we are held responsible for landlords or managers failing to cooperate by a deadline as in my situation, i lost my section 8 voucher in Sept 2019 failing to provide documentation by deadline. I did everything I needed to except couldn't get the manager complete an accurate rental history form because I was moving since I was forced our my unit manager failed to attempt to even fix minor issues to pass inspection3 times inspector came out and if course I failed my caseworker was aware of my situation with the manager I was given another voucher to move I requested an extension I found another unit plus deposit and everything judt manager refused to sign documents by deadline and Saha refused to work with me. I appealed it and my appeal was denied stating it was a landlord tenant issue. Why are the managers and landlord's not held respiratory for failing to comply, forcing us families out out units because t hey didn't like the noise as my case was new manager decided to move r under my unit he had issues with my 5 yr old son whom is adhd and on medication but I reported the manager to hud so I was retaliated against by refusing t o sign by deadline. It's wrong to penalize us residents after we did our part. Now we are living in the street. I singed up for sec 8 again in 2020 the day I lost myappeal hearing, but in order to be contacted you need a portal, I hvnt had PORTAL MY PORTAL DOES NOT WORK NOR CAJ I LOG IN. I FEEL LIKE IM MISSING OPPORTUNITY TO GET WITH OTHER PROGRAMS SINCE I CANT EVEN LOG INIT WAS TO HV BEEN FIXED BUT ITS NOT08 STILL HAS THE SAME THAT IM NOT ELIGIBLE. IVE BEEN HVN THESE PROBLEMS SINCE 2020 STILL CNT FIX IT? So NOW WHAT HAPPENS WITH US?? WE ARE STUCK TRYING TO FIND A PLAVE TO LAY OUR HEADS Because a shelter is out the question it's families sleeping on mats with men I refuse to put my daughters in a situation I'm uncomfortable with. We need help, someone needs to listen and listen well...I have files but ot won't let me upload
