    Since the start of 2018 I went from paying $350 for a room in bozeman to over $1000 while my wages barely grew despite moving into professional management positions. I constantly have to miss family and friends life events because I can’t afford to miss work or working a holiday where I could make extra money. On top of a full time job where I often work 85-95 hours a pay period, I have to have multiple side jobs throughout the year just to scrap some savings together and just when I feel like I am finally making progress my rent goes up again, and again, and again. Just in the last 2 years alone my rent has gone up $700 a month in the same apartment.
