We need to give tenants more power in the relationship with landlords. So many renters live in substandard conditions, get charged rents that are too high, get no response from their landlord even when conditions are dangerous to live in. This is deeply unjust. We cannot tolerate the lack of equity for tenants. This inequity impacts the entire community and impacts those with the least, the most. Please support legislation to address this injustice.
