It is important to all Bozeman and Gallatin County residents like myself that our community not segregate the rich and poor. Our community is special because of our inclusivity and sense that no one is “better” or “more important” than another. To have our teachers, service people, police, library and healthcare personnel on whom we depend so dearly have to move to Manhattan and commute by car (and add to greenhouse gas emissions), or move away all together, is an outcome that will change the very fabric of our town that we love so much. It is the non-stratified nature of Bozeman and vicinity that we all cherish and is what draws us and keeps us here. We have a chance right now to make sure we don’t make the mistakes that other growing towns have made. Keep Bozeman a town for everyone! Not just the rich elite. That never goes well. Skye Raiser.
