I am a homeowner whose children cannot afford to live in this area. We have 3 adult children with spouses or partners which gives them double incomes per household. They still cannot qualify for loans for home ownership and do not wish to spend exorbitant rent that would prevent them from saving for a home.
The rents are too darn high.
