My financial independence went down the drain once I had children. It would bee impossible for me to afford childcare and rent, to say nothing of food, clothing, or heaven forbid recreation. Thankfully I have a loving partner who houses me. What if he wasn't? Who is looking out for single women, women in unsafe relationships - the moms on whom the next generation is relying on? They deserve housing - all of them.
