I am a caregiver for my mom and live with them in Section 8 housing. I want you to enact rent regulations of no more than 3 percent each year and that safe and healthy housing should be a MUST not an option. In the last year, while caring for my mom, we have had mold and the landlord has only offered to paint over it. I am frustrated with the system and wonder, how will I make it if the rent keeps rising and we have to continue to live here month after month. I'm tired of promises and no changes.
