WHEN YOU GO OUT OF YOUR WAY TO PROTECT ONE FAMILY, YOU COMPROMISE ALL THE OTHER FAMILIES . Maybe credit counseling, anger management, problem solving, social skills and basic respect for the property of others might need to be realized. Landlords have responsibilities to all their tenants. I do the background checks. I estimate the risk of the new family to the current tenants. I have had numerous cultures in 1 building. All my families are informed of rent assistance programs available to them. Some have been GREATLY assisted, others haven't done the their homework for assistance. The trouble comes in when they believe the Lease is mandatory for some and optional for others.
