I demand that government-backed loans for landlords be conditioned on rent regulations, provision of safe/secure/healthy homes, and good cause eviction. I was forced to move this year after my landlord subjected me to an 11% rent hike even after they failed to repair a door that allowed for tenant's property to be stolen and failed to treat for pest infestations. It's absolutely unacceptable, it is pure greed, and it must stop.
