    Hello, my name is Curtis Farley and I am a leader with the Louisville Tenants Union and the Homes Guarantee Campaign.

    In the last 5 years, as ownership at my property has changed hands, financed by federal loans, my rent & utility expenses have increased by over $600 a month. On top of that we’ve got doctor bills and other obligations. I just took on a part time job because I can't keep up. I am in my 70s. I’m a good man. I’ve worked hard my entire life. I just want to retire and spend time with my Bonnie.

    We need rent protections that cap our rents at no more than 2% per year. And we need good cause evictions to protect us from retaliation for organizing. We just got this letter (attached) that shows they are trying to prove us out.
    Why should need they a copy of my title?
