    The landlords who get FannieMae loans shouldn't be able to jack up rent on people who are on disability or single moms like me raising kids. I don't think it's right for billionaires to raise our rent, especially with how prices are going up for everything- food is more expensive, clothes are more expensive - there's no way we can handle rent going up too.

    We have kids in our homes who need a safe and healthy place to live- these landlords need to be required to do repairs. My aunt here at Bedford Manor has a hole in her window that she reported months ago that hasn't been repaired, and I haven't had a working stove in my apartment for a month now, but I have 4 kids I'm trying to cook for.

    I don't think they should be able to retaliate against us either. It should be our right as renters - if something needs to be done or get repaired, it just needs to be done!
