    I think if they use government loans to buy the property, they shouldn't be able to raise our rent, so that the rent levels don't get out of control.

    At my complex (Oak Knoll in Shelbyville, Tennessee) they used a FannieMae loan to buy the property. The owners should be required to maintain liveable conditions and do repairs, because we're paying a lot of rent and they're millionaires who are living for free off of us and the government.
