    Landlords who use public money to buy up housing should be limited to just a small rent increase each year- something small like 3% or less.

    Landlords should have to keep the place up if they used public money to buy it- these apartments where I live got a FannieMae loan (Oak Knoll in Shelbyville Tennessee) and have a lot of repairs that need to be done, the cabinets are destroyed and the floors are falling apart.

    I don't think they should be allowed to retaliate against renters who make complaints. That's wrong.
