Housing should be a right provided by our government. I pay a lot in taxes and I see too many empty buildings that could easily be turned into housing. Protecting people from greedy real estate corporations, rent hikes, and evictions should be the least of what we do. Please pass this bill to protect renters and ensure everyone has fair and equal rights to housing.
