    In my opinion, there are a few key areas that the federal government could focus on to address rent hikes. This could include measures such as rent control or rent stabilization, ensuring that rental rates remain within reasonable limits.

This could involve offering tax breaks or grants for developers who commit to constructing affordable housing units.

    Lastly, fostering collaboration between federal, state, and local governments, as well as private organizations, can lead to more comprehensive and effective solutions. By working together, we can leverage resources, knowledge, and expertise to develop strategies that address the root causes of rent hikes and create long-term sustainable solutions.

    It is crucial for the federal government to carefully consider the input received from tenants and advocates in the decision-making process. Their experiences and perspectives can provide valuable insights that can shape effective policies and initiatives.
