I've had to live here with my mom for over 2 yrs after me and my wife divorced. Since I've lived here her rent has gone up every year over a hundred dollars. If I didn't live here she would no longer be able to afford to live here. It's ridiculous trying to get in touch with landlord so we only do when it's a emergency. I've saved and looked to move out and the rent everywhere is really high. I work two jobs and still don't get 3 x the rent , we definitely need rent control, and better protect for tenants.
