I live in an Advenir property in Atlanta GA and have been in the same apartment for over 10 years. Since 2020 My rent has more than doubled and my income hasn't changed much. I'm disabled on SSDI and have had to resort to cutting back on groceries to make my rent on time. Since the rate hikes, the complex and building I live in has fallen into great disrepar with extensive black mold and structural damage do unprepared leaks that still persist to this day.

When any staff attempts to fix issues, they are fired by management. After I reported the property management to local inspectors and media, I had my civil rights violated and was even sexually assulted by staff at my apartment complex in my own home as retaliation. I obviously want to move asap, but cannot do this b/c the complex erroneously flags my name in rentgrow as problematic tenant. I also cannot locate the owner of the property as it's in a LLC.

Please regulate Ladlords, rental prices and hold landlord's accountable when they violate local and federal law.
