As a landlord, I have come to be keenly aware of my responsibility to provide quality affordable housing to individuals and families who deserve decent living space . If I, as a middle class individual can rise to that challenge, certainly large real estate companies can manage. Housing is a human right. Profit comes after people. Please move to ensure rent control for all rental units so that homelessness is not a anchor that drives peoples lives down.
