My names Torin Souviney, I’ve graduated culinary school with a bachelors degree in baking and pastry entrepreneurship yet I struggle to find a well enough paying job in my industry. Living in Louisville kentucky can be expensive in particular for someone making 17$ an hour working in a bake shop. A lot of my money goes to the state, city and federal taxes leaving me with just enough for rent which is 700$ before utilities. After all is said and done I’m left with just about 200$ or so for leisure and entertainment which I need to keep on getting up in the morning 5-6 days a week for work. How am I supposed to save up? I have a Roth 401k but it’s so hard for me to put enough money into it every year to make a difference. I could really use some help.
