With the prominence of real estate investment groups, their practices have made affordable housing virtually impossible to purchase since they always buy entry level houses. Additionally, they have no investment in the community or the needs of their residents. Please protect the housing, safety and shelter of renters, a group growing all the time.
It would be helpful for your committee to interview a few working class renters and see how much we are affected by "open market" housing.
