As a tenant, I request nation-wide rent control policies. High rents that landlords keep raising are making it impossible for me to afford housing and are tearing our communities apart. Establishing rent control will keep me and my neighbors in our homes rather than on the streets and give us the housing security we need to invest our time and energy into making our communities better.
