This is a reasonable start, but every person I know has had unreasonable rents paid to out of town landlords defer our even destroy their dreams. Hard working Americans can't save to purchase a home, loving parents can't afford to have as many kids as they want or in multiple cases I know personally, any children at all. We are cannibalizing the American dream for absolutely nothing and if we want to give entrepreneurs the freedom to start businesses, mothers the freedom to give birth, and students the freedom to learn, we must stop distant landlords from raising rent three hundred dollars a year on tenants who haven't gotten a raise in five years.
If you do not pass a strong, effective rebuke of landlords the homeless population will grow by millions and America itself will be destroyed.
