    When basic needs like housing are treated like commodities to be squeezed for profit, you live in a dystopian society. When millions of your citizens don’t have a room to sleep in, in the richest country in the history of the world, you live in a dysfunctional society. When a handful of banks and investors own the notes on all the property in the country, you have no power. But your the government! Shame for not acting boldly to raise the standards of living for all while lining the pockets of those who can afford to hire a lobbyist.
