Please do not institute national rent control! It is a disaster for small Property Owners such as myself. I am a disabled senior on a fixed income. I depend on rent income to live. Rent control does not keep pace with inflation and thus my income shrinks every year. I still have mortgages, taxes, insurance, bills and repairs all of which go up each year with inflation except the mortgage. I am not rich. I worked hard as a nurse to buy my property. This is not fair to me.
