I understand that small landlords need to cover their expenses and make a profit from their properties. But Big Real Estate is altogether too greedy. If the backbone of New York's energy, hard work and creativity lose their homes due to skyrocketing rents it will be the end of the most dynamic city in America. Don't let big landlords continue to fleece regular New Yorkers. Rent control will save New York.
