It is past time to protect tenants rights. The burgeoning homeless populations is but one manifestation of the disruption that predatory landlords have delivered to the American people. Other manifestations are substandard housing -- substandard to the point of unhealthy and unsafe. Landlord's are entitled to cover their expenses, but they are not entitled to reap profits by contributing to human suffering. Please. We need national legislation that protects tenants' rights. Thank you.
