Renters all across the nation are facing a housing crisis and Miami has been deemed "the epicenter" - we needed action from our elected officials YESTERDAY. Rents have skyrocketed due to the price gauging since the pandemic and conditions are not improving, meanwhile local tenant protections have been pre-empted in Florida. We need nationwide rent control for all of the working families who rent and keep this nation and it's economy going, without access to something as fundamental as affordable housing, everything else falls apart and too many of us are one paycheck away from that nightmare. Please do the right thing.
