    I have witnessed qualifying disabled, BIPOC, and single women tenants be denied rentals for unjust reasoning. Accountability for landlords is needed as they continue to buy up local property and discriminate against our local community member causing destress and houselessness in our community. I have witnessed multiple landlords aggressively cause houselessness amongst our elderly and disabled community for baseless reasoning. I have witnessed a blind mother be denied housing because she was blind. Something must be done this effects all of us. I have witnessed many houses that are rented out to our community be in unlivable and in dangerous conditions. The tenants are unable to hold the landlord to their legal obligations due to a faulty system that does not hold landlords accountable. Again a majority of landlords are not locals and they cause harm to our locals and take our communities money and spent it else where......this does not help anyone in our Tucson community. Something urgently needs to be done.
