I've been living here for years, and my unit is pretty nice. It's not because management or maintenance deal with issues, it's because I spend my own money to fix things here. My rent is ok, if it increases I won't be able to afford to stay here.
Everyone deserves safe affordable housing, especially for federally backed mortgaged properties.
Please implement rent control and other tenant protections so my experience isn't the exception to the norm.
