I've felt lucky living here. I've watched neighbors in buildings right next to mine struggling to just get a decent place to live. I feel lucky because it's only been one winter that we had to go without heat and that they exterminate our building regularly. The rent is reasonable but I know my neighbors aren't so lucky. It shouldn't be about luck. We all deserve safe housing that we can afford. Please implement rent control and other tenant protections for FHFA backed loans
