I live in an affordable senior apartment funded as (LIHTC) and last month everyone received notice that rent will be increased by 20%. Twenty percent is outrageous for low-income seniors and it is happening throughout the country.
There needs to be a national rent control - actually a rent roll back. There is nowhere in the country where people are not rent burdened.
