    Hello,

As home owner and residential property manager, I do not support any of the tenant protections proposed. In fact, I disagree that any such "protections" would in fact protect tenants. Rather, it would significantly increase the burden to the average landlord and property manger and in doing so would decrease quality of management for tenants. The vast majority of rentals are a single investment property for an average, middle-class American. Increasing regulations increases the difficulty of appropriately managing the rental and as such limit the options for tenants.

Further, it is not the responsibility of the federal government to regulate locally in the manner these proposed tenant regulations would be applied. Local governments who represent the actual local people are the only ones, if that, who should have input and regulation on items that impact the local people and local economy.

Please do NOT pass any of these tenant protections.

    Thank you,
    Molly
