- landlords are really taking advantage of the economy and low income ppl. making housing not even livable but charging market price values. I work a full time job, have benefits and a 401K but bc I don’t make 70-80k a year I’m forced to live in mold, mildew, leaks, and fire hazards. I get no response from my landlords regarding repairs but my rent is uploaded days before the 1st. To pass off fees to tenants I’m not forced to pay my $1300+ rent at a local Walmart. Help and protection is very needed. Landlords shouldn’t be allowed to raise rent with any improvements to the unit or property.
