    You specifically, at whatever level of power you hold, are partially responsible for the deaths and disabilities and diseases accumulated by your fellow human beings as you fail to protect their right to housing. Housing should be free, as you need it to not die, and the value of a soul is not weighed in the amount of profit it is afforded for the labor it’s body does. Particularly not in a country where there are six empty homes for every homeless person. Every day anyone remains on the street by anything less than their own choice is another day you have failed to do the bare minimum, politically and morally.
