There needs to be limits on rent increases. Many landlords raise prices without improving or even providing basic maintenance services. Prices at my apartment are always rising while we are often charged as responsible for regular west and tear on things like carpet, A/C & dishwasher maintenance. We pay for everything. What is the justification for the rent increase.
