My mother is an immigrant and has worked all of her life, and remains destitute. We tried of working so hard to pay for a roof over our heads that we are never in. We as a collective people who were raised in Los Angeles can no longer afford to live in our homes. I feel this is another form of Jim Crow. Please do not allow slum lords to price us out of our homes. Thank you.
